GAMEWORNAUCTIONS.NET is pleased to present this jersey from the personal collection of Gaetan Lefebvre. Mr. Lefebvre personally obtained this jersey while working for the Montreal Canadiens. He served in the role of Assistant Trainer, Assistant Athletic Therapist and eventually became the Canadiens longtime Head Therapist. Mr. Lefebvre was a member of the Canadiens for their 1986 and 1993 Stanley Cup Championships. Mr. Lefebvre was also a member of Team Canada during the 1981, 1984 and 1987 Canada Cups where he served as their Trainer.
This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Marty McInnis during the 1994 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected McInnis in the 8th round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at Boston College, this Weymouth native made his NHL debut in 1991-92 with the Islanders where he skated for 6 seasons. McInnis went on to represent the Calgary Flames, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and the Boston Bruins before retiring after a 12-year NHL career. On the international stage, McInnis represented Team USA on their National Team, in the World Championships and in the 1992 Olympics.
