Jovanovski was the 1st overall selection in the 1994 NHL entry draft by the Florida Panthers. After 3 1/2 seasons in Florida, Jovanovski was part of a blockbuster trade with the Vancouver Canucks which sent Pavel Bure to Florida. After 6 1/2 seasons with the Canucks, Ed signed a free agent contract with the Phoenix Coyotes where he still plays today. This 15-year veteran was the Calder trophy runner-up in 1996 and is a 5-time NHL All Star.
