Description
1994-95 Tony Twist St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey
Lot #52
This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Tony Twist during the 1994-95 NHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Twist in the 9th round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. This legendary pugilist made his NHL debut with the Blues in 1989-90. After merely a season in St. Louis, Twist joined the Quebec Nordiques and spent the next 4 seasons patrolling the ice north of the border. In 1994-95, Tony rejoined the St. Louis Blues and finished his career with them some 5 seasons later. Over the course of 10 NHL seasons, Twist dressed for a mere 445 games during which time he accumulated 1121 PIMS, most by way of 5-minute majors.

The collar of this gamer has been custom vented by the Blues. The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, heavy inner pilling and a fight strap that shows signs of trauma and salt. Lest we forget to mention that this enforcer’s jersey has a complete tear up the seam on the right sleeve as well as the removal of an additional custom coin and lace fight strap that adorned the front belly. On the inside hem is the official St. Louis Blues game worn jersey and set information. Along side is the Blues hologram. A well-worn vintage enforcer’s gamer with battle scars to go with it.
