This home white air-knit gamer by CCM and Eastside was worn by Terry Carkner during the 1994-95 NHL season. The New York Rangers selected Carkner in the 1st round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. This Smiths Falls native made his NHL debut in 1986-87 with the Rangers where he played for one season. Terry spent a year in Quebec before a five-year stint with the Philadelphia Flyers. Two seasons with the Detroit Red Wings preceded a final four with the Florida Panthers. All told, in 13 seasons, this tough rearguard amassed 1588 PIMS over the course of 858 games played.
The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, stitch pops, fight abuse with a partially torn front collar as well as an un-repaired tear where the shoulder seam meets the collar and fine inner pilling. On the inside hem is the official Detroit Red Wings game worn jersey stamp. A nice offering worn by this tough customer during his last season with Detroit.
