Description
1994-95 Mike Keane Montreal Canadiens Game Issued Jersey
Lot #102

This road red knit jersey was prepared for use by Mike Keane during the 1994-95 NHL season. This Winnipeg native made his NHL debut in 1988-89 with the Montreal Canadiens where he played for parts of 8 seasons before being dealt to the Colorado Avalanche as part of the Patrick Roy trade. Keane played for Colorado for parts of four seasons while also representing the New York Rangers, Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks. All told this winger spent 16 seasons in the NHL. During that time Mike played in five Stanley Cup Finals, winning three titles. His first was with Montreal in 1992-93, followed by the 1995-96 Championship with Colorado and finally the 1998-99 Stanley Cup with Dallas.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this jersey is the alternate Captain’s “A”. This size 52 sweater was prepared for use by Keane during the lockout shortened 1994-95 campaign and therefore shows no signs of game use. On the back player number is a blue sharpie signature in Keane’s own hand.
