1994-95 Kris Miller Minnesota Moose Game Worn Jersey – “50-year IHL” – Inaugural Season – Photo Match
Lot #358

This home white knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Kris Miller during the 1994-95 IHL season, the inaugural season for the Minnesota Moose. The Montreal Canadiens selected Miller in the 4th round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, this Bemidji, MN native made his professional debut in 1991-92, playing for the AHL’s Utica Devils, the IHL’s Phoenix Roadrunners and the ECHL’s Raleigh Icecaps. Miller spent 6 years between those three leagues before heading to Europe where he played for the final five years of his career.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the IHL’s 50-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of numerous stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, inner pilling and a dozen team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Miller wearing this exact jersey during the 1994-95 season. A well-worn patched and photo matched gamer from the inaugural season of this short-lived franchise.
