1994-95 Kevin Dean New Jersey Devils Game Worn Jersey – Rookie - Stanley Cup Season
Lot #135

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Kevin Dean during the 1994-95 Stanley Cup season, his rookie year. The New Jersey Devils selected Dean in the 5th round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. This Madison, WI native graduated from the University of New Hampshire where he played his college hockey for 4 seasons. Dean made his NHL debut with the Devils in 1994-95 and partook as the franchise won their first Stanley Cup later that spring. Dean spent 5 seasons with New Jersey before completing his career with stops in Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago. Dean spent last season as the Head Coach of the Providence Bruins.

The game wear on this size 52 rookie sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains and fine inner pilling. On the back is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Dean’s own hand. On the inside hem is the official New Jersey Devils 1993-94 game worn jersey and set stamp. The jersey was prepared for use by Dean in 1993-94 and after failing to make the squad; it was given to Kevin for use again in 1994-95 where he wore it during the Devils first Stanley Cup Championship season.
