These road red jersey & shorts by Champion were worn by Jeff Malone while playing for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 1994-95 NBA season.
Malone played his college days at Mississippi State University. Malone averaged 19.0 points per game over his 13-year career in the NBA. He was adept at running his defender through a pick or series of picks, receiving a pass and hitting a quick jump shot. At times he would go on a hot streak and score more than 15 points in a single quarter. In Malone’s rookie season, he hit a game-winning 3-pointer against the Detroit Pistons as he fell out of bounds along the left baseline and lofted a shot over the backboard to give the Bullets a 103-102 lead with 1 second left. This shot was listed as one of the NBA's greatest shots. Malone averaged a career-best 24.3 points per game with the Bullets in 1990. He was twice an NBA All-Star.
This red Champion jersey has the player name “Malone” on the back. On the tail is the Champion manufacturer and size tag. Also on the tail is the 1994-95 year tag as well as the +2” tag. The red shorts have the year and manufacturers tags with #25 on them. A nice lot from this NBA All Star.
