After playing his college hockey at Western Michigan University, this Ajax, ONT native made his NHL debut in 1985-86 with the Los Angeles Kings. Glenn played in LA for three seasons before joining the New York Islanders for the 1989-90 campaign. Healy tended goal for four seasons on Long Island and then moved to the crosstown rival New York Rangers for another four seasons. Healy wrapped up his 15-year NHL career after spending a final four seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Healy led the Islanders to a deep playoff run that took them to the cusp of the Finals in 1993 and then won a Stanley Cup the following season with the New York Rangers.
