Description
1994-95 Felix Potvin Toronto Maple Leafs Game Worn Jersey
Lot #38

This road blue knit gamer by CCM was worn by Felix Potvin during the 1994-95 NHL season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Potvin in the 2nd round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Potvin made his NHL debut in 1991-92 with the Maple Leafs. He soon after made the hockey world take notice as he backstopped the Leafs to the Conference Finals in 1993 and 1994. “Felix The Cat” would go on to became one of the most celebrated Goalies in Maple Leafs history, despite playing only 6 full seasons for the club. Potvin catapulted himself into 3rd place on Toronto’s all-time Wins and games played list, trailing only Turk Broda and Johnny Bower during his brief tenure. Felix went on to play for the Islanders, Canucks, Kings and Bruins. Potvin retired following the 2003-04 season with 266 Wins and 32 shutouts. He made the NHL’s All-Rookie team in 1993 and played in two NHL All Star Games.

The game wear on this size 58 consists of stick, slash and puck marks, goal post paint transfer on both sleeves and pilling. On the crest is a beautiful blue sharpie signature in Potvin’s own hand. A nice example of a tough to find sweater, worn by one of the finest to stand between the pipes in Toronto.
