This road red knit gamer by CCM was worn by Derrick Pyke during the 1994-95 QMJHL season, the inaugural season for the Halifax Mooseheads. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Pyke in the 7th round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. This winger spent four seasons playing junior hockey in the QMJHL where he represented the Halifax Mooseheads and Drummondville Voltigeurs. Following his junior career, Pyke spent five years skating for Dalhousie University.
The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, collar pilling and heavy inner pilling. A nice example that hails from Pyke’s rookie year and the first for the Halifax Mooseheads.
