Description
1994-95 Dan Belisle Detroit Red Wings Clarence Campbell Bowl Championship Trophy
Lot #495
This beautiful and all-original Detroit Red Wings Clarence Campbell trophy was given to Dan Belisle following the Detroit Red Wings Campbell Bowl victory in 1994-95, the Red Wings first trip to the Stanley Cup Finals in almost 30 years. The trophy measures 11 inches high. The top is made of plated silver and the base is wood. The inscription on one side reads "Clarence Campbell Bowl 1968", which was the year that the trophy was introduced, and the other side reads "Dan Belisle, Detroit Red Wings, 1994-95". The Clarence Campbell trophy is awarded by the NHL to the players and staff of the Western Conference playoff champions. Belisle’s NHL playing career lasted 4 games with the New York Rangers during the 1960-61 season. He was the head coach for the Washington Capitals during the 1978-79 and 1979-80 seasons after which he became an assistant coach with the Red Wings. He then spent 17 years as a Scout for the Wings.

The condition is very nice with some light minor tarnish to the bowl. Also of note is the lid is a different color from the base.
