1994-95 Colin Shields Paisley Pirates Game Worn Jersey - "Renfrew"
Lot #247
This white knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Scottish born winger Colin Shields during the 1994-95 BHL season. Shields, who was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2000, came to America in the late 1990’s and spent 2 seasons with the Cleveland Barons which caught the Flyers attention. He next spent 3 years with the NCAA’s University of Maine. Colin then joined the ECHL where he represented the San Diego Gulls, Atlantic City Boardwalks, Greenville Grrrowl, Fresno Falcons and Idaho Steelheads. More recently, Shields spent several seasons playing for the Belfast Giants of the EIHL.

This Scottish born winger wore this sweater across the pond in what was his first professional hockey season. Sewn to the shoulders of this gamer are the Renfrew patches. Game wear consists of stick marks, board burns and fine inner pilling. The current nameplate sits atop another.
