1994-95 Chris Osgood Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey - Sophomore Season - Team Letter
Lot #5
This road red air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Chris Osgood during the 1994-95 NHL season, his sophomore season and one which resulted in Detroit’s first trip to the Stanley Cup Finals of the Yzerman Era in Detroit. The Detroit Red Wings selected Osgood in the 3rd round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. This Peace River, ALTA native made his NHL debut in 1993-94 with the Red Wings where he tended Goal for a total of 14 seasons. Chris also represented the Islanders and Blues over the course of his 17-year NHL career. Osgood won three Stanley Cup Championships during his time between the pipes in Detroit. He also won two William M. Jennings Trophy’s and was a 2nd Team NHL All Star who has partook in two NHL All Star Games during his career. Perhaps his most impressive achievement are his 401 career Wins, placing him 13th in NHL history.

The game wear on this size 54 Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer, un-repaired trauma to the belly, fine inner pilling, heavy exterior pilling along the belly and sleeve as well as some significant team-sewn repair work to the back left shoulder area. On the inside hem is the official Detroit Red Wings game worn jersey stamp. Worn during this 400-Win and three-time Stanley Cup Champion’s sophomore season as he and the Wings trekked to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in nearly 30 years, choice!
