Description
1994-95 Brian Propp HC Anglet France Game Worn Jersey
Lot #105

This jersey originates directly from the personal collection of Brian Propp.

This white heavy mesh gamer was worn by Brian Propp during 1994-95. Propp was selected by the Flyers in the 1st round of the 1979 NHL Entry Draft. He burst onto the scene in 1979-80 as a member of a Flyers team that set the NHL record going unbeaten in 35 straight games. As a rookie Propp scored 34 goals and 75 points and helped his club all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals where they lost in a hard fought 6 game series against the New York Islanders. Over the course of a 16-year career, Propp played in 1016 games, scored 425 Goals and 1004 points. He would take 5 trips to the Stanley Cup Finals, failing to skate away with that elusive win. Propp partook in 5 NHL All Star games and was 4-times a 40 Goal scorer.

This sweater was worn during Brian’s final year of professional hockey as he partook in 27 games for HC Anglet in the France-2 league. Showing he still possessed the offensive firepower that made him a 5-time NHL All Star, Brian tallied 32 goals and 51 points to go alongside 74 PIMS in those 27 games. Game use exists in the form of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Nice international gamer out of the personal collection of this 4-time 40-Goal man.
