This white knit size 54 jersey by Bauer was produced for use by Brian Bonin circa the 1994-95 WCHA season. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Bonin in the 9th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. This St. Paul, MN native spent 4 years at the University of Minnesota spanning 1992-96 and as a senior won hockey’s greatest honor, the Hobey Baker Award. After graduation in 1996, Bonin began his professional career, which included time in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Minnesota Wild. Bauer produced a complete set of these home and road knit sweaters that was never worn by the team.
