This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Bryce Salvador during the 1993 WHL season. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Salvador in the 6th round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. This Brandon, Man native made his NHL debut in 2000-01 with the Blues where he played for 7 seasons before joining the New Jersey Devils. Bryce played the remainder of his 13-year NHL career with the Devils, which included a trip to the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals.
Sewn to the right shoulder of this gamer is the Memorial Cup 75-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and fine inner pilling. Removed from the upper verso and lost to history is the player nameplate. Salvador played five seasons with Lethbridge and led the Hurricanes to the 1997 Memorial Cup in his final game. The Hurricanes paid tribute to one of their all-time greats as Bryce Salvador Night took place in January of 2016.
