Description
1993-95 Adam Foote Quebec Nordiques Game Worn Jersey
Lot #259
This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Adam Foote circa the 1993-95 NHL seasons. The Quebec Nordiques selected Foote in the 2nd round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Foote enjoyed 19 seasons in the NHL, spending the majority of his distinguished career manning the Quebec/Colorado blueline. He broke in with Quebec in 1991-92 and moved with the franchise to Colorado where he remained until joining Columbus in 2005-06. In February of 2008, Foote was dealt back to Colorado and completed his stellar career with the Avs during the 2010-11 season. During his career Adam represented Team Canada in 2 World Cups and 3 Olympic games, winning a Gold Medal in 2002. This feisty rearguard racked up better than 1500 regular season PIMS over the course of his 1154 game career. Adam won 2 Stanley Cups with the Avalanche as he provided untold leadership and stellar defense from their blueline and eventually assumed the role of Team Captain following Joe Sakic’s retirement.

The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and heavy inner pilling. A terrific example worn by this franchise icon towards the end of the team’s time in Quebec City.
