This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Scott Lachance during the 1993-94 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Lachance with the 4th overall pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. This native of Charlottesville, VA played his college hockey at Boston University before making his NHL debut in 1991-92 with the Islanders. While playing in his 8th season with the Islanders, Lachance was dealt to the Montreal Canadiens where he spent a couple of years. Scott next played a couple of seasons in Vancouver before completing his career after two years in Columbus. This 13-year veteran earned an NHL All Star Game appearance in 1996-97 representing the Islanders.
The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and trauma, material pulls, heavy pilling at the cuffs, fine inner pilling and a handful of team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Lachance wearing this exact jersey during the 1993-94 season. A well-worn photo matched early career offering from this former NHL All Star.
