1993-94 Martin Hamrlik Peoria Rivermen Game Worn Jersey - “10-year Anniversary” - Photo Match
Lot #299

This road blue knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Martin Hamrlik during the 1993-94 IHL season. The Hartford Whalers selected Hamrlik in the 2nd round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. This Czech native made his North American debut in 1992-93 with the AHL’s Springfield Indians where he played for parts of two seasons before joining the Peoria Rivermen for a three-year stint. Hamrlik ended his playing days in North America in the IHL with the Long Beach Ice Dogs and Orlando Solar Bears. In 1997-98 this defenseman returned to the Czech Republic and embarked on 16-year run in the Czech League before retiring in 2013.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Peoria Rivermen 10-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Hamrlik wearing this exact jersey during the 1993-94 season. A nice anniversary patched photo matched example.
