This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jeremy Roenick during the 1993-94 NHL season. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Roenick with the 8th overall pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. This Boston, MA born center made his NHL debut in 1988-89 with Chicago. During his 8 seasons with the Hawks, JR became beloved by the fans as he helped lead the team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1992, posted back-to-back 50 Goal season and three times notched better than 100 Points. Roenick joined the Phoenix Coyotes in 1996-97 and spent five years in the desert before going on to play for the Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, Phoenix Coyotes for a second time and finally the San Jose Sharks.

In a career that spanned 1363 games over the course of 20 seasons, Roenick tabbed 513 goals, 703 assists and 1216 points. This 50-goal man played in 9 NHL All Star games during his illustrious career. On the international stage he represented Team USA in the 1991 Canada Cup and the 1998 and 2002 Olympics. Jeremy is a US Hockey Hall of Famer who ranks as one of the highest born American goal scorers in NHL history.

The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of numerous stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, a heavily salted fight strap, fine inner pilling and no less than 20 team-sewn repairs! Roenick put forth an amazing season while wearing this sweater in front of the hometown fans, scoring 46 goals, and adding career bests with 61 assists and 107 points. J.R. also accumulated 125 PIMS, playing his typical gritty style and earned his fourth consecutive NHL All Star Game appearance for his efforts. This gamer was part of the Ken “Hammered Hockey” Mace Collection that we brought to the hobby nearly a decade ago, and in fact, was one of Ken’s personal favorites! Featuring the prettiest logo in all of sports, Roenick wore this battle-scarred example during the Blackhawks last season of play in Chicago Stadium, Remember the Roar!
