1993-94 Garth Snow Cornwall Aces Game Worn Jersey Rookie - Inaugural Season
Lot #222

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Garth Snow during the 1993-94 AHL season, his rookie year and the inaugural year of the Cornwall Aces. The Quebec Nordiques selected Snow in the 6th round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. This Wrentham, MA native played four award-laden seasons of college hockey at the University of Maine before making his NHL debut in 1993-94 with the Quebec Nordiques. Snow played for a couple of years between the pipes with the Nordiques before spending parts of three seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers. Garth went on to spend parts of three more years with the Vancouver Canucks, a year in Pittsburgh and finally four seasons with the New York Islanders.

The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post and crossbar paint transfer, a small un-repaired gash, stitch pops and pilling. On the right breast and upper verso are bold black sharpie signatures in Snow’s own hand. Also worthy of mention is a nameplate change. A terrific example from the inaugural season of this short-lived franchise, which was coincidentally Snow’s rookie season.
