This road maroon gamer by CCM and The Sharp Edge was worn by Fredric Chabot during the 1993-94 AHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Chabot in the 10th round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. This Quebec native made his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens in 1990-91 and spent 3 seasons with the team before moving on to represent the Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings. Freddy played one final NHL season back in Montreal in 1998-99. This Goalie also enjoyed an award-laden minor league career that began in 1989 and ended in 2001. During that time Chabot won the 1993-94 Baz Bastien Memorial Award as the AHL’s best Goaltender, twice won the James Gatschene Memorial Trophy as the IHL’s MVP and also captured the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the IHL’s best Goaltender. In 2001 Chabot left North America and spent the next 5 seasons playing in Europe putting the wraps on a successful 17-year playing career. In 2009 Chabot became the Edmonton Oilers Goalie Coach, a position he held for 6 seasons.
