This road blue knit gamer by CCM was worn by Bob Sweeney during the 1993-94 NHL season. The Boston Bruins selected Sweeney in the 6th round of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This Concord, MA native played his celebrated college career with Boston College before making his NHL debut in 1986-87 with Boston where he played for 6 seasons that included two trips to the Stanley Cup Finals. Sweeney finished his 10-year NHL career with stops in Buffalo, time with the Islanders and the Flames. In 639 games played this tough forward racked up 804 PIMS.
The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Sweeney’s own hand. A nice offering worn by this former legendary BC alumni.
