1993-94 Bob Kudelski Florida Panthers Game Worn Jersey – Inaugural Season – All Star Season – Photo Match
Lot #51

This road red air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Bob Kudelski during the 1993-94 NHL season, the Panthers inaugural year. The Los Angeles Kings selected Kudelski in the 1986 NHL Supplemental Draft. This Springfield, MA native played his college hockey at Yale University before making his NHL debut in 1987-88 with the Kings. Kudelski spent 6 seasons with Los Angeles before finishing up his 9-year NHL career with stays in Ottawa and Florida. Kudelski was a consistent goal scoring threat, notching five different 20-goal seasons including a 40-goal campaign in 1993-94, split between Ottawa and Florida. His efforts that season earned him a spot in the 1994 NHL All Star Game at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, inner pilling and some heavy team-sewn repair work along the lower right side rear hem. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Kudelski wearing this exact jersey during the 1993-94 season. Kudelski registered the only 40-goal campaign of his career and earned an NHL All Star Game appearance for his efforts while wearing this sweater during the 1993-94 campaign, the Florida Panthers inaugural season.
