1993-94 Bob Halkidis Adirondack Red Wings Game Worn Jersey
Lot #135
This home white knit gamer by CCM and Eastside was worn by Bob Halkidis during the 1993-94 AHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Halkidis in the 4th round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. This Toronto native made his NHL debut in 1984-85 with the Sabres where he played for five seasons. Halkidis went on to complete his 11-year NHL career representing the LA Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, TB Lightning and the NY Islanders. In 256 games played, this enforcer racked up an impressive 825 PIMS.

This gamer has been customized for Halkidis by the team. The sleeve cuffs have had an extra piece of material added to open them up for fighting while the body has been shortened at the hem. The game wear on this size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, heavy amounts of washed out bloodstaining and inner pilling. Halkidis split the 1993-94 season between Detroit and Adirondack, racking up a total of 139 PIMS in 43 games played. A nice offering from this enforcer’s only season with Adirondack.
