This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Adam Oates during the 1993-94 NHL season. After playing his college hockey at R.P.I., Oates made his NHL debut in 1985-86 with the Detroit Red Wings. This playmaking Hall of Famer made a name for himself setting up some of the great snipers of the modern era. After beginning his career with Steve Yzerman’s Red Wings, Oates would team up with Brett Hull in St. Louis, Cam Neely in Boston and Peter Bondra in Washington where the duo led the Capitals to the Stanley Cup Finals. Oates went on to wrap up his career with stints in Philadelphia, Anaheim where he went to the Cup Finals for the 2nd time and lastly Edmonton before retiring in 2004. His playmaking abilities led him to the rank of 7th in career NHL assists with only Gretzky, Francis, Bourque, Messier, Coffey and Jagr ahead of him. Through his lengthy career, Adam accumulated nearly 1100 assists and better than 1400 career points which ranks top 20 of all-time. Adam was a 2nd Team NHL All Star at Center and played in 5 NHL All Star Games. Oates was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2012.

The game wear on this 1st set size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling, as well as at the sleeve cuffs. On the inside hem is the official Boston Bruins game worn jersey and set stamp. Oates put forth a magnificent season while wearing this sweater during the 1993-94 campaign. He tallied 32 goals and added 80 assists for 112 points. His assists and points totals ranked 3rd best in the entire NHL that season. For his efforts Oates was named to play in his 4th consecutive NHL All Star Game. A terrific gamer of this Hall of Famer that was worn during the height of his craft.
