Description
1992-93 Steve Finn Quebec Nordiques Game Worn Jersey
Lot #260
This road blue knit gamer by CCM was worn by Steve Finn during the 1992-93 NHL season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Finn in the 3rd round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. He began his NHL career in 1985-86 with the Quebec Nordiques and remained with the franchise for 10 seasons. Steven finished up his career with a partial season in Tampa followed by parts of two more in Los Angeles. Finn was known as a steady defenseman who played with an edge as evidenced by his 1724 PIMS in 725 games played. In fact, Finn averaged better than 200 PIMS per year for his first 5 full seasons on the Nordiques blueline, spanning 1987-88 thru 1991-92. He also served as Team Captain prior to Joe Sakic.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the tough French version of the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The right wrist has a one and a half inch tear running up its seem. The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and heavy inner pilling. Finn racked up 160 PIMS over the course of the 80 game schedule while piling on the wear on this road blue gamer. A terrific offering that features the desirable French version of the Stanley Cup anniversary patch.
