This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Phil Housley during the 1992-93 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Housley with the 6th overall pick in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. This native of St. Paul Minnesota joined the Sabres immediately thereafter and remained with the team for the first 8 years of his 21-year NHL career. Housley would go on to play for the Jets, Blues, Flames, Devils, Capitals, Blackhawks and Maple Leafs. During that time, Housley became one of the NHL’s most prolific scoring defesnseman and a perennial All Star. In 1495 career games, Housley scored 338 goals and 1232 points. Phil was a 2nd team NHL All Star in 1992 and played in 7 NHL All Star games. On the international stage, Housley represented Team USA in 2 Canada Cups, the World Cup, numerous World Championships and the Olympics.

Sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the right breast is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 50 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and inner pilling. A nice patched example from Housley’s last season with the Jets.
