This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Pavel Bure during the 1992-93 NHL season. The Vancouver Canucks selected Bure in the 6th round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. After spending a handful of seasons playing in his native Russia, Bure embarked on a stellar NHL career that began in 1991-92 and culminated into being elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Pavel spent 7 seasons with the Canucks that included back-to-back 60 goal seasons and a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1994. Bure next suited up for the Florida Panthers for parts of three seasons before finishing his career with the New York Rangers. Injuries took their toll on the Russian Rocket and cost him literally hundreds of games. Despite this, Pavel netted 437 goals and 779 points in 702 career games. He was the Calder Trophy winner as Rookie of the Year in 1992 and won back-to-back Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophies as the NHL’s leading goal scorer while with Florida in 2000 and 2001. Bure was a 3-Time 1st or 2nd Team NHL All Star and played in 7 NHL All Star games. Bure also represented the Soviet Union and Russia in numerous World Championships as well as the 1998 and 2002 Olympics, helping earn himself induction to the IIHF Hall of Fame. Pavel holds numerous Canucks records and he was paid the ultimate tribute by the team when they retired his player number 10 to the rafters in Vancouver, never to be worn again. Bure was the first “true” Vancouver Canucks player to be elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame, gaining induction with the class of 2012.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. Sewn to the right shoulder is the Canuck Place patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains, sweat stains, stitch pops, nice pilling at the sleeve cuffs and fine inner pilling. Shown above are some beautiful photo matches and video matches of Bure wearing this exact jersey during the 1992-93 regular season and playoffs. On the right breast is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Bure’s own hand. Bure was fantastic in 1992-93 and earned his first NHL All Star Game appearance. He lit the lamp with a career best 60 goals and also added a career best 110 points. This outstanding well-worn patched and matched example is among the finest Bure gamers in the hobby and would make an incredible addition to your Hall of Fame collection, choice!
