This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Mark Lamb during the 1992-93 NHL season. Lamb began his 11-year NHL career with a game in the mid 1980’s with the Calgary Flames. From there it was a season in Detroit followed by 5 years in Edmonton, included in which were the final 2 Stanley Cup years for the Oilers.
He became Ottawa’s team Captain in their inaugural season representing the Senators for a couple of years before leaving for 2 season stints with the Flyers and Canadiens. After a productive 4 year run with the Houston Aeros, Mark took to coaching and has served behind the bench for a year in Edmonton and the past 5 in Dallas.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. Sewn to the right breast is the 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. Game wear is solid consisting of heavy stick marks, numerous board burns, board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains, heavy inner pilling and approximately a dozen and a half team-sewn repairs. This gorgeous jersey will forever carry historic importance for having been worn during the franchise’s first season by their team Captain. A must for the Senators die-hard.
