1992-93 Luc Robitaille Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Jersey - "1993 Stanley Cup Finals" - Video Match - Luc Robitaille Letter
Lot #15
This amazing game worn jersey hails directly from the personal collection of Luc Robitaille and a letter of authenticity signed by Mr. Robitaille will accompany your purchase.

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Luc Robitaille during the 1992-93 NHL playoffs all the way thru the Stanley Cup Finals. Robitaille will go down as one of the greatest lower round selections in the history of the NHL entry draft. He was a 9th round pick in the 1984 NHL entry draft by the LA Kings where he played for 14 of his 19 NHL seasons.

Robitaille compiled incredible career statistics. He retired with 668 career goals, 726 assists and 1394 points. The goal and point totals are good respectively for top 10 and top 20 all-time in the history of the sport. Luc played in 7 NHL All Star games and was voted a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star 7 times. Also to his credit is the Calder Trophy for rookie of the year in 1987. Robitaille played in the Stanley Cup Finals twice and finally captured the trophy that had eluded him to that point as a member of the Red Wings in 2001-02. With a 19-year career now in the books, Luc is the most prolific scoring Left Wing in the history of the NHL, and a most deserving Hall of Famer.

The 1992-93 season was a special one for Robitaille and his Kings. Luc set a career high for goals scored with 63 as well as a career best in points with 125 as the Kings marched all the way to their first ever Stanley Cup Finals appearance. His efforts were good enough to earn him 1st Team NHL All Star honors.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals patch. Sewn beneath and visible from the inside of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. Proudly sewn to the left breast is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this historic size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, pulls, heavy inner pilling and 3 material backed team-sewn repairs. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Los Angeles Kings game worn jersey and playoff set tagging with the initials of the team equipment man alongside. On the back, beneath the player number, is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Robitaille’s own hand. Shown above are video highlights of Robitaille wearing this exact jersey on home ice during the 1993 Stanley Cup Finals. Without question this is one of, if not the, greatest Luc Robiaille gamer that exists in the hobby. A video matched Hall of Fame caliber offering complete with a letter of honor, terrific game use, a letter from Mr. Robitaille himself and worn during the 1993 playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals with the ever desirable double patches sewn to the right breast, choice!
