Description
1992-93 Jim Cummins Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey Rookie Team Letter
Lot #73
This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jim Cummins during the 1992-93 NHL season, his rookie year. The New York Rangers selected this Michigan State University grad in the 4th round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Cummins began his NHL career with Detroit, playing a single game in 1991-92. He would spend 12 seasons roaming the NHL rinks in his role as enforcer during which time he represented the Red Wings, Flyers, Bolts, Hawks, Coyotes, Canadiens, Ducks, Isles and Avalanche. In 511 career games, Jim accumulated 1538 PIMS.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 52 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, fight strap trauma and fine inner pilling. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Cummins own hand. On the inside hem is the official Detroit Red Wings game worn jersey information. Found alongside is the Hockeytown hologram. A nice rookie sweater from this long time NHL enforcer. This jersey will be accompanied by a Red Wings team letter.
