This road black knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jaromir Jagr during the 1992-93 NHL season, his 3rd year in the league. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Jagr with the 5th overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Jagr was an instant force, earning a place on the all-rookie team and winning the Stanley Cup in each of his first two seasons in the league. Jaromir has amassed an impressive array of hardware during his storied career, which includes 5 Art Ross Trophies as the NHL’s leading scorer, 3 Lester B. The 1992-93 season was Jagr’s 3rd year in the league and was also his breakout season. The 2-time defending Stanley Cup Champion Penguins were in need of a boost as their Captain, Mario Lemieux, was battling Hodgkin’s disease causing him to miss a good portion of the season. Jagr stepped up, netting 34 goals and adding 60 assists for 94 points as he emerged into one of the league’s true superstars while wearing this jersey. A wonderful well-worn photo matched example that was worn extensively by the man who ranks as the NHL’s 2nd all-time leading scorer during his 3rd NHL season and will be accompanied by outstanding provenance, choice!
