Description
1992-93 Garry Galley Philadelphia Flyers Game Worn Jersey
Lot #109

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Garry Galley during the 1992-93 NHL season. Galley was a 17-year NHL veteran who broke into the league with the Kings in 1984-85. He would also serve the Capitals, Bruins, Flyers, Sabres and Islanders. All told Garry played in 1149 NHL games and scored an impressive 599 points from the blueline. His offensive prowess helped land him 2 NHL All Star game appearances. His most productive years came with the Flyers where he put forth back-to-back seasons of 62 and 70 points respectively in 1992-93 and 1993-94. Garry’s only trip to the Stanley Cup Finals came with the 1990 Boston Bruins where they fell to the Edmonton Dynasty.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The game use is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, numerous board burns and un-repaired burn holes, board paint transfer, staining and heavy pilling along the belly, wrist areas and inside. There is also some team-sewn repair work worthy of mention. Worn by Galley as he blossomed into an offensive force playing the point on the power play in Eric Lindros’ rookie season.
