Description
1992-93 Don Beaupre Washington Capitals Game Worn Jersey
Lot #118

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Don Beaupre during the 1992-93 NHL season. The Minnesota North Stars selected Beaupre in the 2nd round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He began his 17-year NHL career in 1980-81 with the North Stars and enjoyed a trip to the Stanley Cup Finals later that spring. Don spent parts of 9 years with Minnesota before joining the Washington Capitals via trade during the 1988-89 season. Beaupre would call Washington home for 6 years, before finishing up his career with a couple of seasons each in Ottawa and Toronto. Beaupre won 268 games during his career and was twice an NHL All Star, representing the North Stars as a rookie in 1981 and the Capitals in 1992.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The body of this sweater has been custom shortened to Beaupre’s specs. The game wear on this size 54 jersey consists of stick and puck marks, goal post and crossbar paint transfer, board paint transfer, washed out bloodstains and areas of pilling. A nice looking red, white and blue Caps jersey that was worn by their man between the pipes.
