Description
1992-93 Derian Hatcher Minnesota North Stars Game Worn Jersey - 2nd NHL Season
Lot #108

This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Derian Hatcher during the 1992-93 NHL season. The Minnesota North Stars selected Hatcher with the 8th overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. This hulking defenseman made his NHL debut with Minnesota in 1991-92 and spent his first 12 seasons with the franchise where he assumed the role of Team Captain. Derian went to a pair of Stanley Cup Finals with Dallas and walked away with a Stanley Cup Ring in 1999. After an injury-plagued season with Detroit in 2003-04, Hatcher spent the remaining 3 years of his career with the Philadelphia Flyers. This 1000+ game member played in the NHL All Star Game and also has a 2nd Team NHL All Star selection to his credit. Derian also represented Team USA in the 1996 and 2004 World Cups as well as in the 1998 and 2006 Olympics.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, a good many board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Fight abuse also exists with a heavily tugged upon and stitch popped collar along with team-sewn repair work to the back of the collar. A beautiful patched example hailing from the sophomore season of one of the franchise’s all-time best defenseman.
