1992-93 Craig Muni Chicago Blackhawks Game Worn Jersey
Lot #72

The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Muni in the 2nd round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. After spending parts of four seasons on the Leafs blueline, Glen Sather found a home for Muni with the Edmonton Oilers, acquiring him in 1986-87. Muni spent 7 seasons with the Oilers, winning three Stanley Cups in the process. The Chicago Blackhawks acquired Muni from the Oilers at the 1993 trade deadline. Craig went on to finish up his career with the Hawks, Sabres, Jets, Penguins and Stars. All told this defenseman played in 819 games over the course of 16 NHL seasons.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. With Muni’s arrival to Chicago late in the 1992-93 season, the game wear on this size 54 sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected, with some stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling most worthy of mention. A nice knit era Hawks Stanley Cup anniversary patched gamer.
