This exciting collection of game worn jerseys, game used sticks, game worn equipment and memorabilia come directly from the personal collection of John Shipman. Mr. Shipman personally collected and preserved these items over the course of his tenure as the Montreal Canadiens assistant trainer from 1988-97. A signed letter from Mr. Shipman will accompany your purchase.

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Brian Skrudland during the 1992-93 Stanley Cup winning season. This Peace River, Alberta native made his NHL debut in 1985-86 with the Montreal Canadiens. Brian won the Stanley Cup as a rookie and spent 8 seasons with the Canadiens before moving on to represent the Flames, Panthers, Rangers and the Dallas Stars where he won his second and final Stanley Cup. All told, this defensive specialist and Selke nominee played in 881 games over the course of 15 NHL seasons.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the right breast is the 1993 NHL All Star Game patch. The game wear on this size 50 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. A beautiful fresh to the hobby patched offering complete with the coveted letter of honor and worn by this two-time Stanley Cup Champion during his last season with Montreal. This sweater comes directly from the personal collection of former Montreal Canadiens assistant trainer John Shipman and is accompanied by his signed LOA.
