Description
1992-93 Brad Dalgarno New York Islanders Game Worn Jersey
Lot #139

This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Brad Dalgarno during the 1992-93 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Dalgarno with the 6th overall pick in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. His entire 10-year NHL career was spent with the Islanders, which included their memorable run during the 1993 playoffs that left them a series shy of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 100-year Stanley Cup anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, loads of inner pilling and in excess of a dozen team-sewn repairs. The 1992-93 season was a special one for the Islanders as they fell just shy of the Stanley Cup Finals and defeated the 2-time defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the process. Dalgarno played on the popular and productive “Kid Line” alongside Macinnis and Green during a year that Islanders fans won’t soon forget while wearing this sweater during road contests.
