1991 Trent Yawney Team Canada World Championships Game Worn Jersey - "Allianz"
Lot #125

This red mesh gamer by Tackla was worn by Trent Yawney during the 1991 World Championships in Finland. The Chicago Blackhawks drafted Yawney in the 3rd round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. After 3 years with the Canadian National Team and a spot on the 1988 Canadian Olympic Team, Yawney began his NHL career in Chicago. After 4 years with the Hawks, Yawney went to the Flames where he played for 5 seasons. Next up was a spot in St. Louis for a year prior to returning to Chicago for the final 2 years of his career.

In addition to representing Team Canada in the 1988 Olympics, Yawney also skated for his country in the 1991 and 1992 World Championships. Sewn to the shoulders of this gamer are the Allianz patches. The game wear on this size XXL sweater is solid and consists of a good many stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling.
