This Czech native made his NHL debut in 1989-90 with the Stanley Cup Champion Edmonton Oilers. Ruzicka joined the Boston Bruins early the following season via trade. Vlad spent three years with Boston and one with the Ottawa Senators before returning to the Czech Republic where he played until 2000. Ruzicka’s career best season came in 1991-92 with Boston when he netted 39 goals and added 36 assists for 75 points, leading Boston in goals and finishing second to Ray Bourque in team scoring.
