1991-92 Terry Chitaroni Sudbury Wolves Game Worn Jersey
Lot #271

This road blue knit gamer by CCM was worn by Terry Chitaroni during the 1991-92 OHL season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Chitaroni in the 4th round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Following a 4-year junior career with the OHL’s Sudbury Wolves, Chitaroni joined the Leafs organization and spent most of the next four seasons with Toronto’s AHL affiliate, the St. John’s Maple Leafs. Terry later went on to play for the Brantford Smoke and with Berlin SC in Germany.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, a trauma filled fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust, material pulls and heavy inner pilling. Also worthy of mention is a nameplate change on the upper verso. Terry played in 62 regular season and playoff games combined, lighting the lamp 38 times and adding 52 assists for 90 points and a robust 158 PIMS while wearing this Captain’s sweater during road games in his final year of juniors.
