Description
1991-92 Mike Keane Montreal Canadiens Game Worn Jersey
Lot #33
This red knit gamer by CCM was worn by Mike Keane during the 1991-92 NHL season. This Winnipeg native made his NHL debut in 1988-89 with the Montreal Canadiens where he played for parts of 8 seasons before being dealt to the Colorado Avalanche as part of the Patrick Roy trade. Keane played for Colorado for parts of four seasons while also representing the New York Rangers, Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks. All told this winger spent 16 seasons in the NHL. During that time Mike played in five Stanley Cup Finals, winning three titles. His first was with Montreal in 1992-93, followed by the 1995-96 Championship with Colorado and finally the 1999 Stanley Cup with Dallas.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 75-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 52 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, heavy inner pilling and a couple dozen team-sewn repairs. A well-worn anniversary patched example.
