Description
1991-92 Ken Hodge Boston Bruins Game Worn Jersey – Photo Match
Lot #59
This black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Ken Hodge during the 1991-92 NHL season. The Minnesota North Stars selected Hodge in the 3rd round of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. This Windsor native played his college hockey at Boston College before making his NHL debut in 1988-89 with the North Stars. The Boston Bruins acquired Kenny in the summer of 1990 in exchange for the draft choice that turned out to be Jere Lehtinen. Hodge next spent two seasons playing for the Bruins and in doing so, he followed in his father’s footsteps. Hodge spent one final year in the NHL playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning. In Hodge’s first season with the Bruins, he appeared in 70 games and netted a career best 30 goals.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 75-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Hodge wearing this exact jersey during the 1991-92 season. A well-worn photo matched example that dates to Hodge’s last season with the Bruins.
