Description
1991-92 Geoff Smith Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey – Team Letter
Lot #271
This blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Geoff Smith during the 1991-92 NHL season. The Edmonton Oilers selected Smith in the 3rd round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. After playing two seasons of college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota, Smith began his NHL career in 1989-90 with the Edmonton Oilers and celebrated the last Cup of their dynasty later that spring. Geoff spent parts of 5 seasons with the Oilers before joining the Florida Panthers where he played for parts of 4 years. Smith ended his NHL career with the New York Rangers where he played for a couple of seasons.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s 75-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. This jersey entered the hobby some 20 years ago as part of the Peter Pocklington collection. An Edmonton Oilers team letter will accompany your purchase.
