This road black knit gamer by CCM was worn by Ryan Fujita during the 1990-91 WHL season, his rookie year. Fujita made his junior debut with the WHL’s Tri-City Americans in 1990-91. Kiyoshi then spent a couple of seasons with the Saskatoon Blades before beginning his professional career in Japan in 1994-95. Fujita spent all 15 years of his pro career playing in Asia.
The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust, fine inner pilling and a handful of team-sewn and patched repairs. A terrific well-worn offering that hails from the true rookie season of this legendary Far East player.
