This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Randy Velischek during the 1990-91 NHL season. The Minnesota North Stars selected Velischek in the 3rd round of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. This native of Montreal played 4 years of college hockey at Providence before graduating in 1983. Velischek made his NHL debut in the spring of 1983 with the North Stars where he played for 3 seasons before joining the New Jersey Devils in 1985. Randy spent 5 years on the Devils blueline before playing the final 2 years of his 10-year NHL career with the Quebec Nordiques.
The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. A nice example from Velischek’s first season with the Nordiques.
