1990-91 Paul Mitton Detroit Compuware Ambassadors Game Worn Jersey - Inaugural Season
Lot #224

This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Paul Mitton during the 1990-91 OHL season, the Ambassadors inaugural season of play. Mitton played four seasons of junior hockey, spending the first three with the Peterborough Petes before wrapping it up with the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors. After his days in the OHL were complete, Mitton went on to play a handful of seasons with the Brantford Smoke in both the CoHL and UHL.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. The game wear on this size 52 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, loads of board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, a salted fight strap and fine inner pilling. Mitton was a tough customer who racked up 582 PIMS in just 211 career OHL games. A well-worn Captain’s gamer from the inaugural season of the brief two-year existence of the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors franchise.
