Description
1990-91 Jeff Lazaro Boston Bruins Game Worn Jersey Rookie
Lot #63

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jeff Lazaro during the 1990-91 NHL season, his rookie year. Following a four-year college career at the University of New Hampshire, this Waltham, MA native made his NHL debut in 1990-91 with the hometown Boston Bruins. Lazaro spent two seasons with Boston and another with the expansion Ottawa Senators before heading to Europe for a few seasons. Upon his return to North America, Lazaro spent the next five years playing in the ECHL and AHL before retiring in 2002. On the international stage, this winger represented Team USA during the 1993 World Championships as well as with the 1993-94 National Team and during the 1994 Olympics.

The game wear on this sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired trauma, washed out bloodstains, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust, fine inner pilling and around a dozen and a half team-sewn repairs. This undrafted local kid was certainly giving it his all while wearing this sweater during his rookie season on home ice at the Boston Garden.
